A setting labeled “Display1_DownScalingSupported” should appear in the right-hand pane. Double-click this entry to modify it, and ensure its value is set to 1.
Should the search yield no results, this method will not be applicable to your system. Attempting to manually add this setting is discouraged, as it is contingent upon the installed graphics driver.

Press the F3 key to reiterate the search process. Change the value of every instance of “Display1_DownScalingSupported” to 1, using the same procedure.

After restarting your computer, access the Screen Resolution settings. You should now have the option to configure your screen resolution to 1024x768, enabling the launch of Modern applications.

In the event of a black screen following this adjustment, booting into Safe Mode will allow you to revert the changes.
