Halo Infinite Multiplayer is Free to Play Now

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Now Available as Free-to-Play Beta
Speculation arose in recent days concerning Microsoft’s potential to release the Halo Infinite multiplayer component prior to the complete game launch.
This was officially confirmed during the celebration of the Xbox brand’s 20th anniversary.
The independent multiplayer mode is currently accessible on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.
Early Access and Season 1
The beta period has been opened to all players, initiating Season 1 of Halo Infinite multiplayer a full three weeks ahead of schedule.
Microsoft, alongside developer 343 Industries, conducted several multiplayer testing phases in the preceding months.
Now, access is universal, granting players full access to all Season 1 maps, the associated battle pass, and the fundamental game modes.
Campaign Launch and Future Updates
The official release date for the Halo Infinite campaign remains December 8th.
However, it’s important to note that certain features will not be present at the initial launch.
Specifically, both the campaign co-op functionality and the Forge mode will be implemented at a later date.
This decision by 343 Industries was made to prioritize the refinement and overall quality of both the single-player experience and the multiplayer offering.
