Neesha A. Tambe possesses extensive experience in identifying and cultivating early-stage ventures. Her work involved the recruitment, sourcing, evaluation, and training of startup founders participating in TechCrunch’s international Startup Battlefield competition.

International Program Leadership

Demonstrating a commitment to expanding market reach, Neesha spearheaded the implementation of startup programs across diverse geographical regions. These included initiatives in Berlin, San Francisco, Latin America, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Her expertise extends to both domestic and international scaling strategies, focusing on the growth of both products and programs.

Community Building and Investor Relations

Beyond program management, Neesha was responsible for nurturing the Startup Battlefield Alumni Community. This involved fostering connections and providing ongoing support to past participants.

Furthermore, she conceptualized and launched CrunchMatch, TechCrunch’s dedicated platform designed to facilitate connections between investors and promising startups.

Educational Background and Personal Interests

Neesha’s academic foundation is rooted in a dual degree from Georgetown University, encompassing the fields of Sociology and Political Science. Her thesis specifically focused on the critical topic of Sustainability.

She also holds an Associate of Arts degree from De Anza Community College.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Neesha is deeply committed to several causes. These include social justice advocacy, active civic engagement, the advancement of carbon capture technologies, and maintaining physical well-being through reformer pilates.
