Mary Ann Azevedo brings over two decades of experience in business journalism and editorial work to her role, having contributed to prominent publications like TechCrunch, FinLedger, Crunchbase News, Crain’s, Forbes, and the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Before becoming a part of the TechCrunch team in 2021, she was recognized with several accolades, including the New York Times Chairman’s Award, and other honors for her impactful coverage of developing stories. She completed her Master’s degree in journalism at the University of Texas at Austin, and presently resides there.
